About John McCarthy
John specializes in capturing images of Western New York's natural settings and wildlife. He has been taking photos for more than 30 years, and has found it to be a never ending learning process, John has a knack for uncovering the beauty of everyday places around our community.
"I live in Orchard Park, New York, and spend a lot of my time photographing right in my own backyard," says John. "We also enjoy spending time in the Adirondack Mountains (except for Ernie—who is very adverse to being in a tent!)"
